April 23-29th was National Volunteer Appreciation Week and the West Central Hartford Elementary celebrated the wonderful volunteers that are so loyal to help us every Tuesday morning. They were given new volunteer shirts and the school staff provided them with a delicious lunch. The ladies do busy work for the teachers and office like laminating, cutting, copying, coloring, putting projects together, etc. Their help is GREATLY appreciated!! They have lots of fun visiting and laughing together as well. What a terrific group of ladies!!

Dorthea Prunty also helps the Hartford Elementary by volunteering her time and energy with Kindergarten Screening and as a judge for Declam. We so appreciate her as well!
