Fire Safety Week

Second grade students were asked to create a fire safety poster. The posters were collected by the Hartford Fire Department and then members present at the fire meeting looked at all the great posters selecting three that represented first safety the best. The winners were selected by blind voting method. Meeting attendees, including several guest visitors were given three tickets to put into a small brown bag for their top choices. The top 10 posters were only 1-2 votes difference. The students did a great job and were all winners as they walked away with life saving tips about fire safety.
